INSIDE URSULA HITLER'S HEAD 79: We Are Me, pt. 6

Sweetie and Mr. Meany swapped bodies, and now Mr. Meany refuses to swap back. Why is Meany being such a mega-bitch, all of a sudden? And is Sweetie doomed to spend the rest of her life stuck as an old man with a bad comb-over?

Holy crap! Who added the Evil subroutine to Meany-fied Sweetie? (Why am I suddenly thinking that this is Lulzo's handiwork?)

But I have to hand it to you, Ursula. I really like where you're taking this. At first it just seemed like a continuation of Swap Meat where Meany gets his revenge on Sweetie for "borrowing" his penis, but this is really taking on a life of its own, and really giving some interesting insights into the characters - especially the Dark Side of the Meany.

I intended it to read like Meany's brain had gotten corrupted by the Sweetie programming, turning him into somebody different, cruel and awful. But I'm not sure if that's how people are taking it... A lot of the comments I'm getting sound like people just think he's gone power mad and he loves being a hot girl so much that he doesn't give a ripping fart what happens to Sweetie. But that is so, so not Meany's personality! If that's how it reads, I think I need to spell this out better.

Well the entire thing reminds me of those dreams you have where everyone is treating you nice because you are a "hot chick" but in real life you would normally, say, OK, enough of this, get your head on straight and never mind.. put your eyes back into your head.. but in a dream its a little different... perhaps you don't want it to stop, and you don't think its a joke.

Not that I personally know anything about being a "hot chick", but while I never got a job because of it, I managed to get a few dinners paid for, if you know what I mean... I clean up really nice.. Just wish my husband understood that one since I got to hang with pop stars and get into shows for free.. and this was AFTER I was married and a momma...

Of course, I've never taken advantage of the situation.. I learned early on, men don't respect women who are easy(er) than they are... anything that ever happened was completely on a platonic level AND any flirting, completely intellectual..

Meany needs to find a long term commitment and who else is going to work out? Sweety of course!

AlterEgoTrip, I haven't been ignoring your comment... I just haven't quite known what to say in response! Having had my own experiences as a "hot chick" (of a sort) and being pursued by guys, it was certainly eye-opening. I can see why being hot can turn some girls evil. When I would turn guys down, there was some little part of me that enjoyed being the unattainable "object of beauty." It's not like I loved saying no, but having something people want and being in control like that can make you feel powerful. That sort of thing could become addictive.
